Huawei Ascend G710 render leaks, details limited

A tweet from @evleaks reveals the Huawei Ascend G710. Details of the device are sparse, although the tweet mentions a 5 inch screen. But unlike most of the new 5 inchers that have been coming out, the Huawei Ascend G710 will feature a 720p resolution, according to the tweet. A quad-core 1.5GHz processor is said to be powering the device, which will most likely be the home-grown Hi-Silicon K3V2 that is powering most of Huawei's big names these days.

Both CDMA and GSM networks are expected to be supported on the phone, which also appears to feature capacitive buttons on the bottom of the device. This model will be below the Huawei Ascend D2 on the manufacturer's depth chart as the latter offers a 5 inch FHD display. We wouldn't be surprised to see Android 4.1.2 installed on this device out of the box.

Hopefully we will soon get the missing pieces, like the remainder of the specs, pricing information and availability. As soon as we find out, we'll pass it along to you. Unil then, at least you have the picture to stare at!
