HTC Weibo is China's version of the HTC Salsa, but without a Facebook button

As we all know, the HTC Salsa over in Europe is deemed as one fully equipped handset with tight integration for the popular social networking service Facebook, much like it siblings in the HTC ChaCha and Status, but China is actually getting something just like it – sort of.

Going with the moniker HTC Weibo, which ditches that all too prominent Facebook button found with the HTC Salsa, it instead favors using a Weibo button that offers baked-in Sina Weibo integration. For those not too familiar with Weibo, it’s actually China’s version of micro-blogging site Twitter, which is still obviously better than nothing. Nevertheless, it still encompasses all the of the social networking aspects you’d expect by simply pressing down on that distinguishable Weibo button below its display.

Besides that one distinguishable separation, the rest of the handset remains the same with its hardware specs and aluminum body design.
