The same time we catch a glimpse of what the
button navigation arrangement may look like on the
HTC M8, word on the web says we may see a full introduction of HTC’s next flagship at an event in New York City sometime late in the month of March.
Aside from recent and steady trickle of information about the device, we are not 100% certain about anything related to this device. What the rumors have been spreading though indicate some incremental hardware advances, which may not inspire many people. That said, we cannot rule out that HTC has some cool things at the ready for the device we are currently referring to as the M8 (or One 2, or One+).
One particular area we are eager to learn more about is what HTC plans to do with the main camera. The HTC One’s “Ultrapixel” camera is in an area where it can be called good, but not great. There has been speculation about the screen resolution of the new phone as well. While some outfits are likely preparing QHD (1440 x 2560) displays for this year, a 1080p screen on a smartphone is still a hit. Even some current 720p panels look awesome.
Assuming that HTC takes a semi-incremental approach to some of the hardware, the HTC M8 may prove its worth with a knock-out user experience and continued premium build quality that we loved seeing on the
HTC One. As of now, it looks like more will be revealed in March according to the reliable source that is, @evleaks.
