HTC HD2 gets new ROM build that improves speed and fixes the calendar issue
Sure we haven’t seen the HTC HD2 land our way just yet, but there’s a new ROM build that addresses some of the issues it has. The new ROM, build 1.48 WWE, addresses the bugs that plague the venerable smartphone like the calendar not allowing you to go past the end of the year. In addition, the overall speed of the phone has improved – it’s not to say that it needs more speed with the peppy 1GHz Snapdragon processor. You can check out the video that shows a side-by-side comparison of the HD2 without the update and one with it – you can judge yourself which one is the winner. Finally, the new ROM can be installed on any unlocked handset without HardSPL. So if you’ve managed to import one for yourself, then download it and bask in the speedy goodness of the HTC HD2.
