Sprint's upcoming new flagship smartphone model, the HTC EVO 4G LTE,
has taken a trip to visit the FCC. This is just another step on the way to its eventual launch, which has been unannounced so far by the carrier. Speculation has pointed to a launch
during the first or second week of June. What we do know is that
pre-orders are starting May 7th with a 2-year contract price of $199.99.
The FCC documentation showed the device using Sprint's CDMA and EV-DO spectrum and
support for LTE band 25. That is the band that Sprint is using as seen with the FCC paperwork for the Sprint variant of the Samsung GALAXY Nexus, which
visited the Feds last month.
