With Halloween just around the corner, Google has put some spooky movies and audiobooks on sale for the holiday.
For the movie fans, there's a rather beefy selection of both newer and classic Halloween flicks to choose from. The prices range between $4.99 and $9.99, with quite a few bargains on offer. There are a few curious, but nonetheless welcome, inclusions in this discount, such as the excellent Swedish vampire drama Let the Right One In. It's neither a typical Halloween movie, nor your run-of-the-mill vampire story and that's what makes it so great. If you haven't seen it, and are in the mood for something a bit more serious than Bruce Campbell spewing one-liners left and right as he decimates the undead with his prosthetic chainsaw, then Let the Right One In may just be the Halloween movie for you at $6.99.
And if you are in the mood for something a bit different, why not try a scary (or hilarious, or both) audiobook? There's a big selection of audiobooks on sale for Halloween as well, with prices again ranging between $4.99 and $9.99. Seth Grahame-Smith's How to Survive a Horror Movie may be a good choice if you also got one of the discounted spooky flicks and are finding it difficult to get through.
