Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 available for pre-order

It has been just shy of two weeks since the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 debuted at Best Buy for $249.99. Now the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is available for pre-order.

Office Depot is taking pre-orders for the new Android slate. Despite the various leaks and rumors that have surfaced regarding this devices, the tablet features a dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 display, Wi-Fi, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and 16GB of built-in storage for $399.99. According to Office Deport, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be released on May 11, 2012. It is not clear if that date is only for those that pre-order, but it is two days earlier than the May 13th ship date that Samsung previously confirmed.
