PA mentioned that the S9 has slimmer bezels than the S8, but didn't mention that it both the S9 and S9+ and wider than their predecessors. And this has to be the most underwhelming announcement of a Samsung flagship ever, nothing ground breaking that will make people run to get this. And we always complained how Apple put extra hardware features in the bigger model to get you to pay the extra $100, and now Samsung has copied their stupid business model. I know me getting one or not won't make a difference, but I'm boycotting Samsung this year, plenty of better options will be out there and for a much cheaper price.

I'm not saying it is, but I'm just pointing out that while everyone is slimming their side bezels, Samsung are doing the opposite.

Technically you're right, but is two hundredths of an inch really worth mentioning? That's less than the thickness of a credit card. I think you're making a mountain out a molehill here.

I'm not talking about the way it will feel in the hand, but the way it will look. I might be wrong after all, but everyone was expecting thinner bezels from the company that was leading the bezeless design language.

The bezels on the S9 aren't actually thicker. There's just more of it on the front of the device if that makes sense. If you look at the S8, there is a very steep drop off of the curved screen. On the S9, it tapers out more before it curves so there appears to be more bezel when there's not in actuality.

You're a hater, you wouldn't have bought it regardless of what happened. You don't think it's a substantial upgrade? Well i do, and i can even argue for it, instead of saying vague things. The bezels aren't actually bigger, they're wider because the curvature isn't as steep, which obviously means they're going to be wider. The bezels are the same, but the curvature is more gradual.

so lets see fun self-emoji finally duel speakers, thats about it, not worth it and no a camera is not the most important thing or even in the top 5. they should allow the SD card to be part of the phone not just files and pics

I’m afraid that the new apture going to overexposed the light in very dark scene instated of gives real photo.

W2018 does that. Too much light. S9 probably will work f2.4 in good light

Thank goodness they ditched that gold ubiquity. I want a titanium gray or coral blue in my country without importing hassles.

Comments made by many sammyboys 2010-2017 : who needs stereo on phones? That's too gimmick. Go buy a speaker. 2018: wow, dolby ... Better than iphone x..

I wish they would offer the blue color that was exclusive to best buy on the s8/s8 plus recently.

I'm not too hot about The S9. Sure, the camera is mighty interesting for a photography enthusiast like me. I take photographs while other people play candy crush or make duck faces of Instagram. I'm sure its camera will keep me busy for a long time thanks to the variable aperture but... I don't like the curved edges. Or the super tall aspect ratio. The glass construction. And of course, the price-tag. But that camera... It's like a mini DSLR! We shall see next year. Might grab it for $400! Ah! Poor lad... G'Day!
