Fujitsu IS12T with Windows Phone Mango is now up for pre-order
The Fujitsu IS12T which features the Windows Phone Mango operating system is now up for pre-order and will officially find its way to shelves in Japan as early as August 25.

This phone is an interesting beast considering it features some mid-range specifications and blends up some high-end ones. The Fujitsu IS12T has a 3.7-inch, 480x800 display and a Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU. The big ticket feature of the item is perched on the back of the device.

The Fujitsu IS12T has a 13.2 megapixel camera which easily sets itself apart from the competition. However, megapixels aren’t necessarily everything so only real world tests will be able to tell us how good the camera actually is. Behind the scenes of the handset is a whopping 32GB of internal memory.

It also manages to be somewhat on the rugged side. The IS12T is water proof for those rainy days and even has a built-in earthquake alert system. This smartphone may never leave the confines of Japan, but it is up for pre-order now (in 3 different colors) if this seems like the right device for you.

I doubt US companies will ever give us waterproof phones, think of all the returned/defective phones they couldn't blame on that little strip being pink.I read that almost all phones in Japan come with this feature and since I live in a very damp, moist area of northern California it would be nice
