Flickr app for the iPhone is finally a reality

Who would've thought that the Apple iPhone would have dethroned other stand-alone digital cameras  as being the most popular camera among Flickr users? Sure the huge amounts of phones sold throughout the world would probably contribute to that crowning. For some time though, owners of the popular smartphone were unable to upload photos directly from their phones – until now that is. Flickr released a content sharing application which enables users to upload, view, and geo-tag their photos and videos directly from their device. It also will also allow users to search and view photos from around the world – even writing a comment about it. Now that this app is available, there would be no reason why the iPhone will continue to be the most popular phone among Flickr users. It edged out the Canon Digital Rebel Xti and Nikon D80 most recently to stand alone. With the availability of this app, we know that iPhone users will now have no reason to capture the moment and have all the world to see in under a minute.
