First Sony Xperia Z4 camera sample photo allegedly leaks out

First Sony Xperia Z4 camera sample photo allegedly leaks out
Sony may not yet be ready to officially announce the Xperia Z4, but the handset already appeared in quite a few leaked photos. Now, it seems that we can even take a look at a full-resolution camera sample from the Z4's rear shooter, thanks to a photo that was snapped with a "Sony E6553" (which, as already reported, is the Xperia Z4).

The photo has a 5,248 x 3,936 pixel resolution, so the rear camera of the Z4 should be a 20.7 MP one, just like the cameras of the Z3, Z2, and Z1. Of course, the new camera will likely bring improvements in other areas. For now, though, seeing just one photo, we can't properly judge the Z4's camera quality (not to mention that this could be a photo taken with a pre-production unit). Anyway, the full-res photo is included in the slideshow below, next to a set of images that allegedly show a black Xperia Z4.

Besides featuring a 20.7 MP main camera, the Z4 should also offer a 5 MP front-facing snapper, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, and 4 GB of RAM. As for the display, it's said that this is a 5.2-inch one with either 1080 x 1920, or 1440 x 2560 pixels (both the 1080p and Quad HD variants might exist simultaneously).

Sony could launch the Xperia Z4 in the summer, though nothing's confirmed at this point.

Agreed. I had the Z3, then went to Z3C, now I'm on the Nexus 6. I like Sony and I gave both their flagships a chance but the Nexus was just much smoother, faster, and overall better phone (minus battery life of course). This looks exactly like the Z3 to me and if it is I'm waiting till November and will get the Nexus 7.

How can you even compare nexus 6 with Z3C. Both are great. Z3C is by far the best compact flagship. Whereas nexus 6 is almost a mini tablet.

Not again. The same design repeated again. I like sony alot but the same repeated design provokes me to go for galaxy s6 edge. Just for some change in look n feel.

Why? Sony's design is already perfect from the Xperia Z. You still get SD card slot, waterproof, metal frame, dual tempered glass. iPhone 4/4S was actually great too, shame that Apple changed it.

People like you that think companies should change their design are stupid. And the Galaxy S6 is the same design as the S4 and S5 just different materials. The S6 Edge is the same design as the S5 just with a curved display.

Nexus 6 is like the worst choice out of all 2014 flagships. Fat, expensive, low battery life and huge. You could argue that you get updates fast, but then you'd be ignoring the fact that stock Android is just chasing OEM customized features.

Stock Android isn't chasing anything, OEM customized features are generally useless. The Nexus 6 is a great device but I agree with you on the size (which is not for everyone) and the price.

Stock Android is rubbish. You are an idiot.

It's not a fake. But it's not Z4 either. It's the "new Z3".

Actually, there are couple ways to greatly improve picture quality of pictures taken with a Xperia fone: 1- Use manual mode and enable HDR while keeping ISO settings low, this somehow disables the heavy post-processing and other sharpening algorithms... or 2- use Burst Mode and select the best shot... Serious Dude... try yourself... I can take WAY better pics using this tips...

"nexus 6 a light years better than z3 c" in what way? Is it the 6inch screen compares to a 4.6 compact? Or is it becaus. Of the nexus brand? Maybe because its couple months fresher than the z3c?

And bad camera quality compare with galaxy alpha and iphone 6. I prefer galaxy alpha for design than a z3c

Hello andreawijayanti, wonder if you are related to kentoz? You two shared the same picture/avatar, I'm getting confused. Oh and by the way, I prefer Nokia 3390 of design than Samsung alpha:P

"that avatar is very "famous" in our country" Ohh...pretty interesting... may I ask which country you refer to? South Korea maybe?

Probably north korea;) you know they never share a damn thing with the rest of the world. As you and I both never seen or heard about this picture of a chubby kid holding an iphone being famous around the internet. I bet its north korea

Bad camera quality? Nope. Also Apple uses Sony camera sensors.

True... not only Apple. Samsung S4/S6/Note4, LG g2/g3/g4, and many others utilize Sony sensors inside it's gadgets.

Manual still won't blow the competition.
