First 4G WP7-based handset to be unveiled during MWC?
A brave new 4G world is finally taking over the mobile universe. Another confirmation of this fact is the words of J.K. Shin, head of Samsung’s mobile division, who reportedly hinted that the Korean manufacturer has some big announcements to make during MWC (February 14-17) in Barcelona, with the phrase "dual-core-powered smartphones" mentioned.

Furthermore, he noted that Windows Phone 7 is not to be left behind from the Korean manufacturer's plans, which is in accordance with prior rumours, and a 4G handset by Sammy is expected to grace the latest Microsoft mobile platform.

CES is still running, but nevertheless MWC is looming closer and some heavyweights of the phone industry like Samsung, Nokia and Sony Ericsson prefer to showcase their latest and greatest devices at MWC rather than CES.

UPDATE: Samsung's mobile division head Shin announced that the next generation tablets by the Korean manufacturer will also be showed-off in Barcelona during MWC:

"In February at MWC, we will unveil our next-generation tablet device portfolio in detail."
