This is the advantage of having your own design shop, you can boutique the heck out of anything. The mid-ranger sports 3.8" LCD screen with 480x800 pixels, 1GHz CPU and 5MP camera that does HD 720p video. Nothing groundbreaking, but actually more specs than what we are used to see in other designer devices.
What makes it signature Jil Sander is the blue stripe that appears on her other gear as well, a svelte blue pouch, and the blue headset to go with the Mango-laden phone. It's made by LG, but is stamped Jill Sander Mobile, so you will feel unique enough carrying it.
The handset will come preloaded with a dedicated Jil Sander app, and go on sale in Western Europe tomorrow. The price hasn't been announced yet, but having a minimalist mobile OS to go with your minimalist fashion line - priceless.
