Facebook, Skype, Twitter arrive in BlackBerry World: here are the essential apps
We’ve already heard about the BlackBerry World launching with 70,000 apps but now we not only have the official confirmation for that, but also more details on the essential apps that you’d have right at launch.

Big names like Skype, Kindle, Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp have all developed native BlackBerry 10 applications and that really is good news.

What’s even better is the fact that some of the biggest game studios have also jumped on the BlackBerry 10 bandwaggon bringing titles like Asphalt 7, Angry Birds Star Wars, Dead Space, Jetpack Joyride, Fruit Ninja and Where’s My Water/Perry at the app catalog on day one.

BlackBerry has showed off the essential apps for each of six categories - games, multimedia, publishing, music, social and of course business. And all the essential apps are right below in the slideshow, take a look.

I am really excited to see what RIM's Blackberry 10 is bringing to the table. I want to see RIM differentiate itself from its competitors. I am seriously considering grabbing a Blacberry 10 device in the next month or so.

you must not own a wp8 device because if you did you'd know that wp8 store has all the apps and games (minus deadpace) said in this article along with 80,000 more apps than bb10. wp8 even has an instagram 3rd party app.

no one wants a 3rd party app they rather the original plus most of the apps on wp you have to pay unlike Android where you can download the apk for free even if its a paid one.

BB10 looks awesome! Can't wait to get it. Love my lumia 920 and WP8 also. IOS just too boring and android software too inconsistent. BB10 nailed it with notifications hub and gestures. Needs a better map tho. Big phones was cool but now it's just ridiculous in my opinion. I use to love my galaxy note but then it was just too damn big for my everyday use.
