Doov V1 certified in China; handset features unique flip camera
The Doov V1 is a handset that has just received certification in China from TENAA, the Chinese equivalent of the FCC. What makes this phone so unique is the 13MP flip camera that adorns the device. From the photographs released by TENAA, we can see that the camera pops out of its housing on back, and can be moved to a front-facing position in order to take "selfies".

The Doov V1 features a 5-inch IPS display, with resolution of 720 x 1280. A quad-core 1.5GHz processor is under the hood, with 2GB of RAM on board. Those who download tons of apps should note that this handset comes with 16GB of native storage, but has no microSD slot for expanded memory. Android 4.4.4 is pre-installed. The phone's dimensions are 148mm x 72mm x 8.5mm, and it weighs in at 144 grams.

While there is no information about when this device will be officially unveiled, it most likely won't be straying far from the Asian market. Despite that, you can still take a look at the Doov V1 thanks to the TENAA certification photographs, which you can see by clicking on the slideshow below.

Thanks for the tip!

The bezels are not as thin as they seem to be. You can see the earpiece on the black glass part.

That is true but until some really strong material comes out some bezel will be needed (not picking on the post just a general thing), especially when it comes to water and dust resistance.

Not only would your credit go down significantly, whatever you owe will definitely increase after all the taxes and paperwork that happens when they come looking for you.

Or at least stop calling it a selfie.... ugh. When I first used the front facing camera in 2011 I didn't even call it a self portrait, just a pic. Actually I took a pic of myself with the rotating camera found on my Samsung V205 flip phone and Motorola T720 rotating camera add-on back in the day. Maybe it's because I'm no longer in my teens or early 20s is reason why I hate the term...
