Deezer is getting an important update that adds Spotify-like features
Deezer is probably the fourth major music streaming service in the United States, even though it made its debut in the country just two years ago. In order to compete with much bigger services like Apple Music, Google Play Music, and Spotify, Deezer is adding a handful of new features meant to close the quality gap.

In an announcement published yesterday, Deezer confirmed that its mobile app will now feature an improved Flow tab where users will find personalized playlists based on what they listen to and inspired by their favorite artists. These personalized playlists will refresh on a daily basis, just like Spotify's Daily Mixes.

On top of that, Deezer users can discover new music from the Flow Tab and still have control over what genre is recommended. You'll be able to swipe right on the Flow Tab and see what are the daily recommendations inspired by what you've been previously listened to.

The option to discover new music while keeping control over the genre refreshes weekly, in the same way that Spotify's Discover Weekly does.

Keep in mind that if you're using an Android or iOS device, you'll have to go to My Music and tap on the Flow icon to access the new features. Continue to slide from right to left and you'll be able to discover all Flow suggestions.
