The Pixel 2 XL is more than a decent flagship, even if it's been on the market for more than a year. Despite what some US retailers want you to think, and no matter how good the phone is, there's no reason you should pay the full $850 price to buy one.

It's true that Google hasn't dropped the phone's price yet, but more often than not it offers various deals, and the same goes for many US retailers. Currently, you can get a $250 discount on the Pixel 2 XL at Google Store, although Best Buy has a better deal.

For a limited time, you can grab the Pixel 2 XL for just $400 and you don't even have to sign a new contract. Truth be told, this is a Verizon model, so you'll have to activate it on the carrier's network sooner or later, but if you already have a contract this is a deal that you don't want to miss.

However, if you don't mind signing a new Verizon contract, you can buy the Pixel 2 XL (64GB) for $0 down and $16.66 per month for 24 months, down from $35.41/month. The deal won't remain live for too long, so anyone looking to buy a cheaper Pixel phone should hurry, it's unlikely that you'll find a better price anytime soon.
