Deal: Get the Verizon Nokia 2V for less than $50 (30% off) at Best Buy
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
Bringing a flagship smartphone to such a competitive market like the United States is quite hard unless you're Apple or Samsung. HMD Global has taken a more conservative approach and brought two affordable smartphones to two US carriers: Cricket and Verizon.
While Cricket is selling the Nokia 3.1 Plus, Verizon added the much cheaper Nokia 2V, a budget-friendly phone that you can now buy for less than $50. The prepaid phone usually sells at Verizon for $69.99, but Best Buy has it on sale for only $49.99, and you also get three months of free SiriusXM streaming service (only if you're a new subscriber).
Although it's very cheap, Nokia 2V has all the ingredients of a solid Android smartphone. It's perfect as a second phone or you can gift it to someone who's never owned an Android device before.
It comes with Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition), which means it's very light on the bloatware (unnecessary apps) and will get updates for at least two years. Other highlights of the Nokia 2V include a large 5.5-inch display, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage plus microSD, as well as 4G LTE support.
