Deal: Apple's 10.5-inch iPad Pro (512GB, Wi-Fi only) is on sale for $150 off at Best Buy

Deal: Apple's 10.5-inch iPad Pro (512GB, Wi-Fi only) is on sale for $150 off at Best Buy
Best Buy is running a sale on some of Apple's products as part of its President's Day promotion that ends on Monday at 11:59 pm CT. However, according to the US retailer, some offers will be extended beyond the deadline mentioned, though we don't know which ones.

One of the discounted Apple products, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro (512GB, Wi-Fi only) tablet can be had for less than $1,000, its usual price. Even though the discount isn't that high, you'll still be able to save $150 if you buy the slate by the end of the sale period.

It's worth mentioning that all four color variants are on sale (Silver, Gold, Space Gray, and Rose Gold), but not the cellular version, which still costs $1,130. Still, if you don't mind signing for a 2-year contract with Verizon, you could get the 10.5-inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi and cellular (512GB model) for $930, so you'll be saving no less than $200.

Sprint has a similar offer but you'll only save $100 and you'll have to commit to a new $42.92/month plan for 24 months. Best Buy doesn't have any promotions on AT&T's 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which costs $1,130 or $56.50/month for 20 months.

Ha...what a stupid comment. iPad 10.5 is hands down the best mobile tablet available. - Battery life is insane with literally 10-13 hours of screen on time - Reliable performance, with buttery smooth multitasking - Solid Display with 120hz refresh rate - Lightweight with strong build quality (great durability as well) - Got mine for $675 when Best Buy. Honestly one of the best tech purchases I have ever made Please keep in mind - I'm NOT an Apple fanboy. Current daily driver is an android phone, and I personally think the iPad is the only product worth buying in Apples current entire lineup. But, any person talking crap about the iPad 10.5 clearly hasn't owned one.

You can easily get a touch screen laptop or even some 2 in 1s for that iPad deal price. Plus you can do a hell of a lot more than this iPad.

but the big question is, why anyone would buy touch screen laptop which user experience is just horrible, or 2 in 1 which offers bad laptop and bad tablet experience.

I have bought Lenovo Yoga 720 and I will never buy another 2in1 laptop. Windows on touch screen is a joke and the construction of the device is crippled because of the 2in1 design

I agree. Android phone owner for many years and while android tabs are functional, the iPad is in another league. Plus, short of drop kicking it, you'll easily get 4-5 years service out of one making the cost well worth it.

I'm sure it's a fine tablet, but for this money I'm getting a laptop. No idea how this thing sells at this price point (and I do mean the sale price). I guess it's the next best thing to lighting your money on fire.

I used to say the same thing about the price. Honestly, it does 99% of a laptop now.

Depends on what you do and if you care for ease of use or ergonomics. I bought iPad Pro 12.9 and 1/2 later I replaced it with Xiaomi Air 12. Using tablet as a notebook replacement is nonsense. It might be light, it might be fast, but software wise it's utterly useless.

In my case, all I need is the office suite and a few construction apps. The camera as well (work wise). I still would never sell my MacBook and depend on it solely. Too many compromises for the big stuff.

Chillin with my 12.9 iPad Pro. It works great (sans iOS 11 bugs), and I see no need to upgrade it. Apple has the tablet game on lock.

Wouldn’t mind having this one but I will keep Air 2 a while longer.

I'm not saying this tablet is good or bad, I'm sure it's great, but I just picked up a brand new MacBook Air for $750 (Brands Mart & Best Buy Prez Day sale). Still need iTunes on a computer if you're using an iPad or iPhone so it was a no-brainer.

I haven't used iTunes in years.

I use it all the time with iPhone but with my Air I don't think I used it at all in last 2 years. Still, it sucks that you can't just drag and drop documents from your pc to iPad

iPads are nice tablets - no denying that. But they are very expensive for what they are. These things should be no more than $500. Android and other tablets just don't have the app developer support to rival. Some of the apps themselves are excellent, but there just aren't enough of them across all categories.

"iPads are nice tablets - no denying that. But they are very expensive for what they are. These things should be no more than $500. " There are iPads for many different price points and you can get great iPad under $500.
