Charger sets Nokia Lumia 920 on fire; phone still works after the flames are gone

Now, you might be asking about the warranty. Why doesn't Fabricio simply return the phone? Well, it turns out that the warranty on his handset expired two months ago. And to make matters worse, Nokia refuses to repair the device for free; this upset Fabricio so much, that he vows that his next phone will be an Android model. He wonders how Nokia could give a free handset to someone that had a Samsung built Android model catch on fire, but fail to take care of someone who is a Nokia customer.
You can't blame Nokia for not repairing the phone. Sometimes, it is the phone owner's fault. You might remember a couple of years ago, a Samsung Galaxy S III was said to have exploded while in an unplugged car dock. Both Carphone Warehouse, where the phone was purchased, and Samsung, refused to replace the charred model. And when the truth was finally revealed, it turned out that the retailer and manufacturer had done the right thing. Apparently, a friend of the phone's owner had dropped it in water. Panicked, he tossed it into the microwave in a misguided attempt to dry it off.
As far as Fabricio is concerned, unless he can convince Nokia that he honestly deserves a free replacement, he will continue to use his burnt Nokia Lumia 920 until it is time for him to make the switch to Android.

No. He just will not use Nokia phone and might switch to Samsung. So dumb indeed. Why he wanna leave the best hardware and go to the crappy plastic phone. After that fire, his phone is still working and charging. So durable Nokia.

it went up actually and is now near 4%, not as much as android but hey its all good, there is no signs of them quiting just yet. And wp fans arent really delusional, they like what they like. I deal with android daily for 13hrs as a job and then as a personal device, because of that, it has made me a wp fan/fanboy.

No, just no! And now with the Note 4, Moto X and upcoming iPhone launch, their market share is going to decrease more.

Shipment is not market share, according to the data posted windows has a 3.6 market share. the 2.4 that everyone is quoting is shipments for a quarter versus others. Considering they launched one new buzz phone, icon/930, it was a no brainer. The 635, M8, and now the 730/835 are the only new phones this year and will see if wp bounces.

"he will continue to use his burnt Nokia Lumia 920 until it is time for him to make the switch to Android" Even if Fabricio isn't smart enough to stop playing with fire, at least he knows what the best future platform for him is.

Nokia should stop making public phone and start making for military because they are absolutely very tough. And if the ammo runs out they can throw these phones on the rivals making a clear kill. Kudos Nokia disconnecting people and connecting Military ;)
