Blurry images of a thin-bezel Xperia appear, along with battery life screenshots from Sony Sirius
Blurry image of what is deemed to be a Sony Xperia phone with very thin side bezels have leaked into the Chinese blogosphere with the enigmatic "wait for MWC" hints in the thread.

It's no secret that a Sony Z1 refresh is coming, under the Xperia D6503 'Sirius' moniker, but the code number D6603 has also popped up here and there, indicating Sony has more flagships in the pipeline, and this design might belong to the latter.

Meanwhile, а few screenshots, claimed to be from the upcoming Sirius, appeared over at the dedicated XDA-Devs threads. These show the battery life reports from the phone, which is said to carry a generous 3300 mAh capacity unit. Judging from the battery screens, endurance is on the average side, but these are probably taken from a preproduction unit, so we wouldn't read too much into them.

Still, very disappointing performance for such an enormous battery. But maybe the software isn't fully ready yet.

if you look at the source from which it is provided then you'll come to know that the phone restarted almost more than 16 times because the software isn't stable. for e its still very good rating.

I don't like ultra thin bezels but i'm waiting for haters' reaction. From now on, haters will say ultra thin bezel is not so much important!

I like it, but only if it remains with the ip58 certification. I want a waterproof phone that looks nice.

I rather have bigger bezels with less chances to crack the screen than super thin bezels... My Acro S has taught me this function over looks lesson... SoZ1 Compact is perfect for me

Yes, ultra thin bezels are aesthetically wonderful. Downsides are you will have accidental touches on the edges on the side. Z1's bezels are just fine.

I want. Sony, release it on Sprint. Well, release it on all the carriers, preferably with the cellular bands that can be used on all of them in the same model, similar to the iPhone of Nexus 5.

With these thin bezel trends ongoing, I would like to see how far these phones can go on a drop test

With so much complain about Sony bezels. This would make people shut big time! While other brands like HTC and Sony and LG is trying their best to advance in technologies, Samsung is only doing copy and past. Everyone who has owned the S4 knows how bad Samsung can be. Lets see what they can do in the future.

I haven't seen any back button from Sony yet. Thin bezels is something ALL manufacturer try to do. Sharp has done it better than LG. So Sony is basically copying Sharp with your logic.

Well, better than those fat bezels, which made Z1 so big. Keep up, Sony!

If this one does pack a 3300 mAh battery with good life along with the 5.2 inch IPS Screen AND.. not to mention a brilliant camera, SONY have a winner in its hands. But all i want is a better Loudspeaker.

I hope this is a ZL 2 but not Z2 as I prefer not having flap-cap on my phone which is annoying and water resisstance is not a must for me

+1 I also like the screen ratio of the ZL better than the Z.
