BlackBerry Mobile is giving away a free Black Edition KEYone
The BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition is a handset that you might not mind having as your daily driver. The physical QWERTY keyboard is outstanding, and a zippy fingerprint button is embedded in the space bar. The combination of the 3505mAh battery and the energy sipping Snapdragon 625 chipset means that battery life is fantastic. In fact, our latest report on battery life for 2017 flagship models had the KEYone ranked first; a full battery gave the device 12 hours and 26 minutes of screen time. That was followed by the 10 hours and 57 minutes scored by the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. In other words, the KEYone provided one hour and 29 minutes of additional screen time over the runner up.

The Black Edition of the phone features twice the storage capacity at 64GB, compared to the 32GB available on the original KEYone. And the Black Edition is equipped with 4GB of RAM versus the 3GB of RAM that comes with the original version.

As it turns out, BlackBerry Mobile is giving away the KEYone Black Edition model with the BlackBerry KEYone Holiday Contest. First, we should point out that the contest is open to entries from all countries. The rules are pretty much straightforward:

  • Follow BlackBerry Mobile on Instagram.
  • Like the post on Instagram about the contest and write a comment about a feature of the KEYone that you like.
  • Tag 3 friends so that they can enter too.

The contest ends on December 29th at midnight PST, and the winner will be announced on the same Instagram post on December 30th, just before New Year's Eve. It sounds like a great start to the new year, awaiting the arrival of your new BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition.
