BlackBerry KEYone coming to Sprint on July 14

BlackBerry KEYone coming to Sprint on July 14

The new BlackBerry KEYone is available for purchase just about anywhere in the world, but in the United States customers can only buy the unlocked version of the smartphone. Unfortunately, the unlocked BlackBerry KEYone will not work on CDMA carriers like Sprint and Verizon.

Although rumors about an upcoming release of the Verizon-branded BlackBerry KEYone emerged last month, no carrier in the US offers the smartphone for the moment.

But that might change by the end of this week, as new information confirmed by a Sprint rep points to a July 14 release for the BlackBerry KEYone. So, how is this going to work and when will you be able to buy the phone?

Well, Sprint says that the BlackBerry KEYone is expected to launch for online direct ship on July 14. Customers who prefer to pick this one up at the retail stores will have to wait two more weeks until July 28.

Sadly, the carrier has yet to provide information about the price options, though US retailers offer the unlocked model for $550 outright, so Sprint's price should be around the same amount. Until the smartphone goes live at Sprint, you can go ahead and read our BlackBerry KEYone review so that you'll know what to expect.

As mentioned sometime during the BlackBerry KEYone unveiling, Sprint is onboard with carrying it here in the U.S. An unlikely, but welcome partner for BlackBerry Mobile, I suppose.

If you ask me, I think it's unfortunately DoA. Reason being is that it's coming to Sprint so late and the Note 8 unveiling is right around the corner. Blackberry would have been better off with sticking to an unlocked version with ALL carrier bands. The S8 launch delaying the KeyONE didn't do it any favors. Just keeping it real.

You're not keeping it real and nobody asked you.

Lol lol lol. Very true. He do not keep it real for three main reason: 1) Note 8 will most likely not be release at least until September at earliest, maybe even later-https://www.phonearena.com/news/Samsung-expected-to-launch-the-Galaxy-Note-8-in-September-at-the-earliest_id96001 And BlackBerry KEYone and Note 8 are for two different set of buyer. Everybody know this, even mxyflashmite, but he choose to be in denial over it. 2) He still posting conjecture/fabrication as fact about KEYone being delay because of Galaxy S8, but he never post not one shred of proof to back himself up. He never will, because there is no proof, because that is not the reason for KEYone delay. This is-http://www.computerworld.com/article/3193010/smartphones/blackberry-keyone-sales-delayed-a-month-to-meet-demand.html He act like he know better than TCL CEO, when he does not. His delusion of grandeur overtake his last tiny vestige of common sense a long time ago. 3) He is incapable of "keeping it real" because he is troll who like to cry for attention on BlackBerry article and throw a brat fit because he do not like them. He allow a non-living entity to control him in such a way that he can only post negative and hate about them, even though he lie in his entire comment.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!!! He really think that he is not lying hypocrite troll, but everyone know better. He is going to respond with usual rhetoric. He is like broken record over and over again with the same lies and he will play the victim. You do us all a huge favor when you make him deactivate his mxyzptlk and tony_stark account. Allow me to return favor by making him deactivate his Flash account.

Definitely, my dude. I've grown a bit bored with constantly putting mxyflashmxy2starkmite and his unsubstantiated lies in place, especially after making him deactivate two of his faux accounts. He's all yours to shut down in this article.

Michelle you wouldn't know what keeping it real is if you had both the urban dictionary and oxford dictionary right in front of you. Stop it.

Lmao! Dude, it's why I totally ignored his Trump alternative facts having @$$ comment. When you can't even back up part of what you say with a verifiable link and make excuses about it, you know that you're really just spewing BS.

We had this discussion before and you failed to prove that what I said was a conjecture. So you can continue lying to your brother/f-buddy/jockride DigitalJedi_X2 and I'll continue to make you my little b.

Lol, you mean that YOU failed to provide any evidence whatsoever that your conjecture was fact. Since you made the false accusations, it was up to you to provide a evidence proving your point. You didn't, because you couldn't, while I provided evidence from the TCL CEO himself proving my point. Now stop lying and acting like your ignorant @$$ knows more than the people closest to the matter, because you don't, and you look ridiculous trying to act like you do. But I do enjoy putting you in your place on these articles.

I told your dumb@$$ that it was a hypothetical assumption based on the timing of said delay. That was a far more compelling reason than just a flat out assumption that honestly was never proven to be the case with numbers to back that up. You are just mad because the truth stung more than your bs word and crying.

Lol, and I told your fabrication as fact posting @$$ that it was conjecture because you can't back it up with facts. If you really thought it was a hypothetical assumption, you wouldn't be continuously posting it on various BlackBerry articles as if it were true. It's only compelling to you because you're a troll that hates BlackBerry. Now you're backtracking because I've made you look like a lying, ignorant fool about it once again. See? You just proved me right again. You're still trying to say it's true when you have no evidence to back it up. You just contradicted yourself, and in doing so, you made yourself look like a lying, conjecture posting idiot that's big mad and crying because BlackBerry/BlackBerry Mobile has a smartphone that's selling far beyond their expectations.
