BlackBerry Bold 9900 simulator now online
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is probably the most highly anticipated new BlackBerry model since, well, the BlackBerry Storm. A 2.8 inch touchscreen will sport resolution of 480 x 640 which should allow for sharp and colorful images on the display. The physical QWERTY keyboard is similar to thehighly praised one found on the BlackBerry Bold 9000 and as we reported, the browser has been improved to the point where RIM calls it the industry's best mobile browser. A 1.2GHz single-core processor is on board along with 768MB of RAM, and a 5MP camera that captures video at 720p.
It all sounds like something that both BlackBerry fans and garden-variety cell phone users would like to play around with, and thanks to an online simulator, you can get to see and feel how the phone works. With the BlackBerry Bold 9900 simulator, you can check out the new OS 7 and the features on the handset. This could be the model that puts BlackBerry back on the map with a unit that can compete with the Apple iPhone and Android handsets. And while many had thought the same about the BlackBerry Torch 9800 before that phone was launched, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 offers much higher specs than the Torch does.
