Best Buy plans to commence its iPhone 4 pre-orders starting June 15

Although it may not come to be too much of a surprise, but consumer electronics retailer Best Buy has gone ahead and announced its plan on starting pre-orders for the upcoming Apple iPhone 4 starting tomorrow, June 15. You can basically pick up a pre-order in any of the hundreds of Best Buy retail locations or standalone Best Buy Mobile stores across the country to bypass those pesky lines known to always happen during big phone launches. Although they haven't spilled the exact detail surrounding the pre-order process, it'll most likely follow similar offerings in the past. Customers would probably throw down $50 for the pre-order, which then is placed on a gift card, ultimately returning to the store to pickup the handset and pay for the difference at the time of the purchase. So if you just can't bother waking up at the crack of down when this thing goes down, you may want to opt in getting a pre-order and sleep in on that day.
