Best Buy Canada will commence their "Free Phone Fridays" promo in February

As much as Best Buy's US customers briskly enjoyed the retailer's execution of their “Free Phone Fridays” promotion over the holidays, it looks like customers in Canada will soon experience the same thing.

Best Buy Canada announced that they plan on running their popular “Free Phone Fridays” promotion in all of their stores, including standalone Best Buy Mobile stores located in Canada, throughout the month of February. So you'll want to circle down February 4th, 11th, 18th, and the 25th since they all fall on that joyful day of Friday.

If you're not aware about the special promotion, Best Buy Canada will basically reduce the cost of two to three different smartphones across various carriers and change them to the oh so easy to pay price tag of free. Naturally, you'll need to activate the handsets in stores and sign a 3-year contract. Still, it's not too shabby since at least one of the handsets are generally positioned as a high-end model.

Now if they can only start this promotion again in the US and make it a year long thing...
