Beefed up Nokia 6 2018 goes on sale in the US
One of the first Nokia smartphones introduced by Finnish company HMD earlier this year, Nokia 6 2018 is now available for purchase in the United States. The phone was rumored to make it to the States in Q2 along with two other HMD handsets: Nokia 1 and Nokia 7 Plus.

The smartphone is now sold via Amazon, but the orders are actually fulfilled by another seller. If you want one, you'll have to come up with $270 upfront, but you won't have to pay anything for shipping.

Unlike the base model, the US/Canadian version comes with a higher amount of memory inside, so instead of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, the Nokia 6 2018 sold through Amazon includes 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.

The rest of the phone's specs remain the same: 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, 5.5-inch FHD (1080p) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 16-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 8-megapixel front camera, and 3,000 mAh non-removable battery.

Even though this is the US variant of the Nokia 6 2018, it will only work on GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, so if you've been planning to use it on Sprint, Verizon or U.S. Cellular, you're out of luck.

In the same piece of news, there's another Nokia 6 2018 (TA-1068) listed on Amazon, which is sold by another retailer for $309. This specific version packs 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage, but it doesn't come with a warranty in the US.

It is not sold by Amazon, it is sold by BREED. No warranty. WOW PA, slow day?

Are these really the "US variant" Cosmin? The second Amazon link says these are the International version. This is definitely not HMD Global's official North American debut for this device. These sellers are just bringing these (international) phones across the pond hoping to sell. No warranty or mention of a return policy either.

That's true; however, sometimes international comes in a better specs than US version, one example is galaxy J7.

The phone is very poorly priced in India for its specifications. Also 16:9 panel looks outdated.
