Apple outs iOS 7.0.3; update fixes accelerometer calibration issue and more
Apple not only introduced the Apple iPad Air and the Apple iPad mini 2 on Tuesday, it also rolled out iOS 7.0.3 which includes a number of changes. One of  the issues that is fixed by the update is the problem with the accelerometer that causes the readings from the gyroscope and the compass to be off. The update adds a password generator for Safari and repairs a lock screen bug.

The update also repairs several iMessage bugs that prevented messages from being sent and received and eliminates a VoiceOver glitch that negatively impacted Siri. In addition, iOS 7.0.3 will also bring Wikipedia and web search back to Spotlight. After the update, "slide to unlock" will not display immediately if Touch ID is enabled.

The iOS 7.0.3 update will be sent out OTA, and if it doesn't land on your Apple iPhone and Apple iPad today, it will soon.
