Apple iPhone 6 vs Samsung Galaxy S5 vs Samsung Galaxy Alpha: specs comparison

Apple iPhone 6 vs Samsung Galaxy S5 vs Samsung Galaxy Alpha: specs comparison
After an excessive amount of leaks, rumors, and speculations, Apple finally unveiled its latest and greatest device up until now, the iPhone 6. Undoubtedly, numerous iFans have spent the past few months searching high and low for yet another bit of info regarding the much-anticipated device. At the same time, probably an even bigger amount of potential buyers only now gets hold of some insight in what Apple has been prepping since its iPhone 5s.

Regardless of which group you have initially belonged to, you're probably eyeing the device with pleasure and calculating when exactly you'll be able to lay your hands on one. Yet, there's a third group of people, which are on the fence and hesitant on whether to opt for the iPhone 6 or choose one of its Android rivals. We are talking about Samsung's foray in metal-clad (sort of) Android smartphones, the Galaxy Alpha, as well as the manufacturer's flagship, the Galaxy S5 powerhouse.

The average consumer will probably notice next to no difference between the three devices in day-to-day performance, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't take the specs sheets of these three more-than-hot devices and throw them against each other in a specs face-off. As usual, the honorary winner will be chosen by you, so waste no more time, check out the specs below and share which is the clear winner in terms of pure hardware specs.

Why S5? I think you don't know that iPhone 6 Plus is better than all of thove, the comparison is entirely wrong in terms of equality, because GS5 should be compared with iPhone 6 plus, because iPhone6P has 5.5 inch screen, A8 chip with M8 coprocessor and as said here: techzend.com/iphone-6-plus-vs-samsung-galaxy-s5/ a much better battery time than iPhone 5s and 6. I think it's a great achievement by Apple and in near future Samsung will be in the list of losers.

Lol sigh...why would the S5 be compared with a phablet? It's not a phablet.

Why are you suddenly talking about the Iphone 6 Plus? This is a s5, alpha, Iphone 6 comparison. Apple hasn't really added anything to the Iphone 6 and the iphone 6 Plus. Apple says its bigger, slimmer, faster and apart from that what else changed? Also I think this is a fair comparison because they are all smartphones whereas the Iphone 6 Plus tends to be more of a phablet so comparing that with a gs5 isnt really fair. Iphone 6 plus should be compared with a note 4.

iPhone 6, iPhone 6P, GS5, Note 4. All flagships have been a disappointment.

Explain how the N4 was a disappointment because we've been knowing almost everything about the 6/6+ since March.

Lmaoooo, but both Samsung phones win easily. Surprisingly the Alpha is still lighter. And Phonearena 1 Gb of Ram is not big compared to the ram of the Alpha and S5

I agree with u Carlitos. Samsung is clearly the winner. Alpha also happens to beat the gs5 in benchmark tests. reason for that is its got an octa core whereas gs5 has a quad core.

Alpha have 6.7 slim. What's the point on next article standing for a plus on slim category of ip6? PA loves Apple!

Its the Price of the iPhone 6 that will put alot of people away from it,an with the iPhone 5s price being reduced,it could become more popular than Apples new model

2 mid ranges and one flag ship.... S5 is the flag ship.

Galaxy Alpha matched and beat the iPhone 6 spec for spec pretty good. It's definitely the iPhone 6 for Android (we all knew long ago but now it's 100% confirmed).

'it wipes the floor with these stupid asian pieces'. Well at least Samsung makes better phones then your white boy iToy things. And Hyundai cars are now pretty advance, you must be living under a rock to not know that. More like: Comparing two flagship phones with a small toy that released today.

Well I really don't understand how your logic of "which phone is better" works, becuase the comparison clearlyshows Samsung is the winner. Although I do think Apple iphone design looks pretty good.

The Alpha trolled the iPhone 6 so badly that it is not even funny. It literally beats it in every category. Lol

On paper but s5 still sucks, Apple has a better user interface that customers are driven to and beats touch wiz, I don't see any people lining up for any of the galaxy phones lol

The sammy fan girls will never admit anything like touchwiz sucks, etc. Compare the buzz around the Note release and the iPhone release. It says a lot.

The only thing holding me back from getting any Android device is Imessage, even though you all might think it is not important I use it so much and would rather use imessage than text, and Imessage has so many more features so if Android came out with something like Imessage I would definitely get an Android phone.
