Apple iPhone 6 screen assemblies snapped for posterity
From Taiwan comes the latest leaked photographs of the Apple iPhone 6. What we have in these pictures is the front assembly of both a black and white model. Check out the thinner side bezels, smartly trimmed down from the Apple iPhone 5s. The glass on the 4.7 inch display is believed to rounded into the edges, something that we can't really see from the pictures.

On the flip side of each screen, you will see some QR codes, which are used for manufacturing and Quality Control. Flex cables are seen near the top of the assemblies, and on the bottom of each assembly is a cut out for the Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

Apple has an event coming on September 9th, at which time it is expected to unveil the 4.7 inch Apple iPhone 6. A 5.5 inch Apple iPhone phablet might not see the light of day until October. As we get closer to September 9th, you can expect more leaks of the iPhone 6, to come scurrying out of the woodwork.

It looks like an iPhone 5!!! Maybe it is....if not, I feel even better about my G3... That narrow screen is the reason I switched...I had hoped they would have made it wider.. Will have to see in person but why doesn't anyone ever say anything about how narrow the screen is?

Oh my, it looks like... an iPhone! Why post pictures of any new iPhone when it's almost a carbon copy of the earlier models? Just write "we've seen the new iPhone, and it looks the same"...

Why post the same hate comments other aShyeep comment when it's almost the same exact comment like every other one we see around here? Just write "My name is ManusImperceptus and I am an Applehateoholic." Hi ManusImperceptusssssss.

Actually, I just hate iTunes. :-) But, seriously... Any difference is incomprehensibly miniscule - it can't be that exciting to speculate that maybe, MAYBE, the him button is 1/10 of a millimeter closer to the screen than on the predecessor...?!?

Yeah it looks like iPhone, but there is so much details that different, and that we will see only in the final product.

Really? lol, Apple and their fans will just keep coming up with crap to make it seem like their on top. "Top number of devices sold", then "Top number of activations", then "Top number of internet usage" and soon "Top number of devices used in the toilet"...

It's not bad, but definitely not good either. They could remove almost half of the top bezel just by moving the front camera next to the speaker rather than on top of it.

To be fair I would rather have a larger top bezel with a centred camera, I have an S4 after switching from my iPhone 4S and having the camera on the side of the phone makes photos look off.

dont think so. look at one m8 , sony z2 has thick bezels. your argument is invalid

But their bezels have purpose. They hold high quality front facing stereo speakers. All Apple has is a silly home button.

You meant a silly fingerprint sensor that everybody is rushing to implement ?.

M8 has front firing stereo speakers , so yes it is justified and that black bar is to compensate for the space taken by speakers .

Definitely thinner than Z2, S5 or M8.
