Apple announces iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition go on sale on April 10
It appears that the leaked Virgin Mobile document mentioning Apple will introduce the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition on April 9 was 100% accurate, as the official press release went live earlier today.

So, if you've been waiting for these premium Apple products, you'll be pleased to know they will be available for purchase online starting April 10. Also, customers will be able to pick either of the two smartphones in stores beginning April 13.

A new (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X Leather Folio will be launched alongside the new iPhones, which will be available from Apple's online stores for $99 beginning tomorrow, April 10.

As far as availability goes, the special edition iPhone models will be available to order tomorrow, April 10 after 5:30 am PDT in the following countries: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and the US.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition will be available later this month in the following countries: Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE and other countries and regions.

The third wave of countries and regions to get these premium products in May include Chile, Colombia, India, Israel, Turkey, and others.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition will be available in 64GB and 256GB models starting at an Apple retail price of $699. Customers will be able to choose from three three color options: space gray, silver, and gold.

On top of that, every customer who buys iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition from Apple will be offered a free Personal Setup in-store or online, which is meant to help them get the most out of their new smartphone.

Finally, customers in the United States can take advantage of Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program to get the special edition iPhone, with the protection of AppleCare+. The program is available in the US with monthly payments starting at $34.50 for the iPhone 8 64GB model.
