Apple Store goes down ahead of iPhone Xs & Apple Watch Series 4 unveiling
In less than six hours’ time, at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple Park, the world’s most valuable company is expected to kick off its annual hardware event that will see the announcement of a whole range of products including three new iPhones, a new Apple Watch, and updated iPad Pros.

In preparation for the arrival of new products, Apple’s regular practice involves taking down its online store hours before any announcements. Once these happen, the company then reopens its store to the public complete with its new products and updated pricing. And today, confirming that a host of products are on the way, Apple has officially taken down its online store. But, rest assured, the store will be open for business again in a matter of hours.

Apple’s iPhone announcement is set to kick off at 10 a.m. PT/1p.m. ET. This should then go on for about an hour and a half. Although if Apple has hidden any extras up its sleeves, it could easily reach the 2-hour mark. As soon as the brand is done, though, the Apple Store will be back up and running.

For those of you who may be interested in watching Apple’s event live, the company will once again be live streaming everything through its own website. Also, for the first time ever, Twitter users will be able to watch the product unveilings through the platform too.
