The all-new Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition goes official with decent specs, $200 price tag
Although it targets children, the Fire HD 10 Kids Edition is a pretty decent gadget specs-wise. On top of that, the slate is priced to sell for just $200, even though it offers a total value of over $320.
And that's not all, as Amazon announced that every tablet sold comes with a one-year subscription to its FreeTime Unlimited service that offers access to over 15,000 books, video, educational apps, and games specifically aimed at kids.
Specs-wise, the all-new Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition sports a 10.1-inch full HD (1080p) display, a quad-core processor, 32GB expandable storage, and a battery that should offer up to 10 hours of usage.
Amazon announced that the all-new Fire HD 10 Kids Edition is available for pre-order starting today for $200, but it will ship on July 11. Customers will be able to choose from three available color options: blue, pink, and yellow.
A special introductory offer is available for those who want to buy more than one tablet, as Amazon offers a multi-pack option that includes two Fire HD 10 Kids Edition tablets for 25% off.
