$90 will buy you the red hot Nokia Lumia 520 for AT&T's GoPhone from Amazon
What smartphone is the arguably the hottest model on the planet right now? The Samsung Galaxy S4? The Apple iPhone 5? The HTC One? Surely it must be some high-end model with a ton of features, right? Consider instead that the low-end Nokia Lumia 520  has been selling out wherever it appears. Just the other day, the device became the top selling model for three major carriers in Finland. And of course, we have already documented how the T-Mobile variant of the phone, the Nokia Lumia 521, sold out on HSN, T-Mobile and at Walmart.

Over at Amazon, the AT&T version of the Nokia Lumia 520 is on sale for the carrier's GoPhone pre-paid network. For $90.02, you can pick up the device and the good news is that the AT&T version of the phone already comes pre-loaded with the GDR2 Windows Phone 8 update and Nokia's Amber update as well. Consider the specs and look at the price. We're talking about a 4 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 480 x 800. A dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus is under the hood while 512MB of RAM is inside. While 8GB of native storage comes with the phone, you can use the 64GB microSD slot to expand the storage on the device. While there is no front-facing camera on the phone, it does come equipped with a 5MP snapper on back that takes video in 720 x 1280 at 30fps. A 1430mAh battery powers the phone.

The phone ships in 2 to 5 weeks from Amazon, giving you an indication of the popularity of the model. And with a 10% discount for the GoPhone version of the device, it looks like the handset is about to get more popular.
