32GB Wi-Fi only Apple iPad (2018) just $249 at Amazon after $80 discount
If you don't want to pay $499 for the 64GB Wi-Fi version of the new Apple iPad Air (2019), you might be interested in a deal being offered by Amazon (via BGR). The 32GB Wi-Fi only version of the 2018 Apple iPad is on sale for $249. That is an $80 or 24% discount from the etailer's usual price of $329. Shipping is free. And if you apply and are approved for an Amazon Rewards Visa card, that knocks another $50 off the price bringing it down to $199.

The sixth generation iPad is equipped with a 9.7-inch screen with a 1536 x 2048 resolution. It is powered by the same A10 Fusion SoC that is found inside the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and Apple says that the 8827mAh battery will provide users with up to 10 hours of use. An 8MP camera adorns the back, and there is a 1.2MP FaceTime camera in front. The tablet runs the latest version of iOS 12 and the sale is available for the Silver version of the slate. Keep in mind that this iPad will support the first generation Apple Pencil.

We don't know how long this sale will be running, but if you're looking to buy your Mom a tablet for Mother's Day, you might want to consider this deal. Mother's Day is next Sunday, May 12th.

Knowing it has Apple Pencil support and at the end you could buy the stylus with the money you saved from the tablet itself, it's a great deal ! damn. I think Apple Pencil is a major go, especially after using SB 1st-gen with the new Surface Pen for a good while... the accuracy DOES NOT hold up and needs stabilization on at all times.

Surface Pen is a joke for writing. It's only good for marking stuff. Apple Pencil is the best overall (except the ridiculous charging method). For Windows, the only thing suitable for writing is Samsung's S Pen. I think the first Surface used the same tech, and lots of people claimed it was way better than the 2nd gen surface pen.
