Zauba listings confirm screen sizes for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge
Zauba is the website that tracks imports into, and exports out of India. We've often been able to confirm some information based on these listings. Yesterday, two new smartphone imports into the country were posted on Zauba, and the model numbers indicate that they are the Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930R4) and the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935R4).

Based on these listings, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is equipped with a 5.1-inch screen. This confirms the screen-size that was listed on a recent AnTuTu benchmark test. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge will carry a 5.5-inch display, according to Zauba.  Both screens should carry a QHD 1440 x 2560 resolution.

According to the Zauba listings, both models were shipped into India for testing with their valid IMEI numbers withheld. Two units of each model were received by Samsung. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are each valued at $351.57 for each unit shipped into India. Since these were merely samples, as noted by Zauba, the pricing shouldn't be used as a guide to determine what Samsung will charge for the two models.

We expect to see the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge unveiled on February 21st during the Samsung Unpacked 2016 event. That happens to be the day before MWC kicks off in Barcelona.

Since the 820 is near enough on par with the 8890, the AMOLED screen and rumours of waterproofing are the only thing stopping me from going to LG city.

The Sd820 Could Be Better Than E8890. Whichever Has The Best GPU Will Be Better Soc.

A play a lot of graphically intense games so a super fast gpu does have huge benefits, for me personally of course. Just to point out everyone benefits from a super fast gpu when there phone has qhd. I'm not some clueless idiot who thinks one part makes a good phone, I know it's the whole package.

NO, the best GPU is Mali T880MP12. Adreno 530 for much improvements that can have it's inferior to the Mali GPU.

Mali GPU is powerful but the drivers are not optimised like adreno and is a bit glitchy. There are artifacts which pop up at random when playing games.

It's a fact. The Mali GPU causes some trouble in games.
See this:https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_f5AiUsH6zc

The LG G4 with Adreno 418 played GTA San Andreas smoother than the Samsung Galaxy S6!

The same issue plagues the kirin 950 powered Huawei mate 8 which has glitches and dropped frames when running gta San Andres. It could be a issue with the game itself being not optimised for Mali GPU but Mali being the reference design of ARM, it should actually be the other way round

And what? That's due to huge glitches on Mali T760 or Cortex A57. My Note 4 there has constant artefacts and the game just closes with an error after several minutes of gameplay.

The reason of glitches on GS6 is Rockstar.

Mali-T880MP12 has many cores but they're not very fast cores. Overall it's very similar to the Adreno 530 while being much more power hungry.

no they wont launch at that price
every phone comin to india has low price as tgey try to save tax on import
even the lumia 640 was listed at 70$ but then the retail price tuned out to be 150$

i think pricing will be similar to S6 or probably a tad bit higher

please use common sense... retail price will always be higher than the price listed here... this is the price which samsung will charge and then retailer and channel partners will add 100% to it for their profit... so the selling price will be appx 700$... do you think retailers and channel partners will not take any profit and will sell it free for samsung?
I am in retail business and we dont sell anything below 100%... even 100% is very less, most of the items are 200% or above. Otherwise you will never be able to pay bills, taxes, salaries and earning profit

The price is without local taxes and import taxes. Usually manufacturers label their commodities low to evade import taxes since this is a test unit. Everything on zauba is price well below what they actually sell for. But I would be pretty surprised I if Samsung can bring back those 30k rupees flagships.

5,5" S7 edge? Noooo! That's way too big. I hope that's the real S7 edge:

I really hope that 5.5" is not th screen size for th Edge. I was hoping to come back to Android-land but if this is true, I will just stick with iOS for another year.
