Samsung's event to unveil its new handsets in the US is being postponed by a day
Originally scheduled to happen on Monday, August 29th, Samsung just informed us that they’re postponing the highly anticipated event to the following next day – Tuesday, August 30th. Still occurring at the same place and time, the decision to move it back by a day is mainly due to the fact that Hurricane Irene is expected to unleash its power upon the Big Apple.
Currently, it’s being reported that New York is asking residents to evacuate areas that are more prone to damage – plus, the subway system will be inactive for the better part of the weekend leading up to Monday. Additionally, the move to Tuesday will enable more attendees out of state to make proper adjustments to make it to the event.
Either way, we’ll be there to cover all of the festivities live, so be sure to check back then to get all the latest information and news.

bad signs there, well probably all be disappointed when they reveal the specs: like all the gs2 US version will not feature exynos, no NFC and the devices are way thicker than the original. Oh yeah maybe they will also tell us that a much better device is being launch all over the world except here: no timeline for us.

why would samsung spend millions of dollars creating a new phone, that sucks? Chances are it will be the same exact phone that is all across the world, also haven't you seen the pictures? only difference seems to be the bottom buttons.
your name should be dumbuglyFATman
