That's the best thing about them. They are always good at updates.

Samsung has absolutely become more dedicated in the last couple years to providing updates. As a Focus S user, I was never worried for my device, but am very relieved for 1st generation WP7 users.

You do realise that not all samsung's android phone are treated the same previlages? Take for examples....Galaxy S2 and Galaxy R....
Not so great now eh?

Dunno about galaxy R, but galaxy S2 as well as note is supposed to get 4.1.2 JB update in Jan.

As for my recent comment...maybe I didn't make my point clear enough, compare S2 with Galaxy R, why there's an update for S2 and not for the R? The only diff between these both are the screen, correct?

Samsung is way behind when compared to Nokia in case of rolling out updates.
Bcoz Nokia had already rolled out updates for Lumia.....
I had updated my Lumia 710 a week ago to 7.8..
Its working fine...
With App of Ringtonemaker from Nokia is also good...
Which Samsung will not provide

You R right this is in hands of MS but Nokia is the only company, which will be the 1st to rcv updates from MS.
