Samsung Galaxy Note II release date could be first week of October, “titan gray” Galaxy S III coming soon
But Wednesday’s event is also anticipated because of a big announcement for the Galaxy S III which is said to be ready to receive the Jelly Bean update. Also, a “titan gray” version of the flagship Android phone is in the plans, according to that same leak. The gray Galaxy S III is allegedly arriving earlier, around mid-September.
As to the Galaxy Note II, we also see it appearing under the GT-N7100 model number. The original Note was released as the GT-N7000. We’ll get all the details in two days - stay tuned.

So the Note 2 will have a 0.2 inch bigger screen and a quad core processor...not excited.

What do you want then? A 6-inch and a penta core processor?

I think he'd be truely happy and satisfied with 9 inches; I don't think number of cores will be an issue.

I know right? This is a phone/tablet hybrid. What more can you ask for? Anything larger would not qualify as a phone anymore, it will strictly be a tablet.
Also it's quad-core, mind you it's an Exynos 4 so it's an incredible quad-core. The BEST right now until the Qualcomm S4 Krait Pro quad-core comes out later this year.
Yeah not excited......right.

Please clearly copy the part of my comment which I stated that I want a larger screen.
I wanted NFC, Jelly Bean, upgraded camera, new design, bigger battery and perhaps an upgraded screen.
Please tell me that I am asking for much, all phone manufacturers add the features which I stated above (Apart from Motorola)

NFC, Jelly Bean, upgraded camera and a new design thank you very much. Perhaps a higher resolution but I don't really care about that

I dont think anyone was expecting much more then that for an upgrade.. but honestly what more could they do? Maybe added another gig of memory but beyond that I dont see any thing else till 2013. note line juist ment to be a bigger version of the current flag of the year. I passed on the orginal note may get one of these or an original note on the cheap.

Why can't they release all phone colors on release date, I mean come on! They start off with Blue/White then Red and rumored on Black...now Titan Gray? Really?
Make all options available at the time of release.

They make these colors based on popularity. Like how the first Motorola Razr only came in Silver and Black before all the others. Making other colors in advance could result in huge loses if they don't sell well.

Apple is sinking, their only hope was Obi Wan and the courts. The Obi Lost. The jury made mistakes. Sammy is the winner so is Android.
Note 2 please. I have the Infuse, nice phone, I have big mits, so this is the next step for me. From what I have read it will possibly come released with Jellybeans. ubergizmo.com/2012/08/alleged-samsung-galaxy-note-2-specs-leaked/
