Report: Apple iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard to launch first week of November
The latest rumor involving Apple's 12.9-inch tablet, is that the Apple iPad Pro will be ready to go on sale during the first week of November. The Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard are both also expected to launch at the same time. The report comes out of Japan, and cites sources alleged to be close to the company. Both the tablet and the accessories were unveiled last month at the same time that Apple unwrapped the Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus.

While the handsets have already been released (selling more than 13 million units on the launch weekend), both the iPad Pro and accessories have been shown on Apple's website as launching in November. The Apple Pencil will allow users to write and draw in different colors, while mimicking the style of different writing instruments. You can vary the thickness of the lines you draw by pressing harder or softer on the device. The Smart Keyboard is a physical QWERTY keyboard for your iPad Pro that becomes a protective cover when the QWERTY is not in use. The accessory connects to the tablet using a wireless feature called "Smart Connector," which transfers data and power between the iPad Pro and the Smart Keyboard. The keys are treated so that they can resist spills.

The Wi-Fi only version of the iPad Pro will be priced at $799 (32GB) and $949 (128GB). The Wi-Fi+ Cellular version will be offered with 128GB of internal memory only, for $1079. Color options are gold and silver. The Apple Pencil will cost you $99, with the Smart Keyboard tagged at $169.

By launching the device and the accessories early in November, Apple is allowing plenty of time for it to rack up some sales during the holiday shopping season.
