Refurbished iPad Air now available at the Apple Store online
About 5 months after its official announcement, the iPad Air has been made available in refurbished form straight from the Apple Online store. As of this writing, there are 9 different models of the tablet listed at the store's refurbished section, all with 15% marked down from their original price.

The cheapest in the bunch is a Wi-Fi-only iPad Air with 32GB of built-in storage. It can be bought for $509, in either silver or space gray. Folks who need extra space on theirs are free to choose between a 64GB or a 128GB iPad, priced at $589 and $679 respectively.

4G-capable refurbished iPad Air units are also available at the online store. For $529 one can grab a 16GB iPad with cellular connectivity provided by AT&T. The 32GB and 64GB Wi-Fi + Cellular refurbished models, also powered by AT&T's 4G LTE network, cost $619 and $699 respectively.

All of Apple's certified refurbished iPads come with free shipping and a 1-year warranty. Furthermore, they are all thoroughly tested for reliability and equipped with a brand new battery and outer shell. Interested in grabbing one? Then follow the source link below.

I agree it's not woth it. I bought a refurbished iPad 2 for 10% at Best Buy a while ago when there wasn't much competition against the iPad. Then I found about Apple's refurbish program. However, the retailers started discounting the iPads. The first was Walmart with $20 off.

During the past 6 weeks, Target has run two sales on brand new iPad Airs: $50 off and they also a gave $30 Target Gift Card on Valetines day.

I am waiting for Apple to ship its iPads with at least 2GB of RAM before I buy. I would love to upgrade both my iPad 2 and iPad Mini.
