Apple's App Store now has a section dedicated to selfies

Believe it or not, if you’re obsessed with selfies, Apple is now making it easy for you to feed your obsession. The App Store recently added a section that promotes applications which should help you take and share the perfect selfie. Mind you, this is not a new category, but a seemingly temporary section.

The section includes popular apps like Snapchat or Facetune, but also some that you may have not heard of - like Front Flash, which provides “a simple way to take self-portraits in low-light with the front camera.”

Of course, selfies are now a social phenomenon, even the Oscars making some of them hugely popular. So if you have an iDevice and you're constantly taking selfies, head on over to the App Store to see what's available for you. The new section should be visible on the front page of the App Store, both in the desktop iTunes application, and on iOS.
