Altek Leo is a 14MP Android cameraphone to be introduced at the MWC Expo next week
The Altek Leo will be on display at Altek's booth, in all its 14MP with 3x optical zoom glory, so you rightfully guessed it's more of a point-and-shoot camera, than a phone. Nevertheless, on the smartphone side of things, it is running Android 2.1, which has been enhanced with applications for pictures and video editing on-the-fly, making it easier to edit photos before uploading them somewhere over USB, 3G, Bluetooth
A 3.2" screen might not seem big by today's standards, but the 480x800 pixels of resolution is more than enough for the size, and, besides, don't forget that you are actually finding it on the back of a camera. The sensor size is 1/2.3", which is akin more to standalone cameras, than smartphones, with the notable exception of the Nokia N8, which has a 1/1.8" sensor.
As for photographics capabilities, the phone doesn't skimp on features at all, and has the full suite of settings and scene modes, and is capable of recording HD 720p video. We have a prototype unit of the Altek Leo in the office, have a look at the sample photos with it below. Very good, and bear in mind this is a pre-production unit not even updated to the latest firmware yet. Stay tuned for our preview of the Altek Leo.

What processor does it have? They took way too long to release it! Now, it's been eclipsed by other phones, with better processors and graphics.
Let's hope they release an update soon!

Thanks for the article, there isn't a lot of english info on Altek phones, but I still love my A806.
I'd love to see a full review once it's actually released.
