Alleged Apple iPhone 6 front panels get compared to older models
From China on Monday morning, comes the latest pictures of what is allegedly the front panels belonging to the Apple iPhone 6. The pictures supposedly were taken in the factory where they were made. The largest sized panel you see in the pictures below, carries the 4.7 inch glass that is expected on the Apple iPhone 6. If it pans out, that will mean that the iPhone screen has grown 34% from the original 3.5 inch screen that adorned Apple's iconic smartphone, until the 4 inch screen appeared on the Apple iPhone 5.

We should point out a couple of interesting things. One, the panels do resemble the ones leaked last week that measured out at 4.7 inches diagonally, and were allegedly made with sapphire glass. Secondly, take a look at the thin bezels on the panel.

We could see the Apple iPhone 6 introduced as soon as September 19th, according to the latest rumors. What we don't know is whether the Apple iPhone phablet, with an expected 5.5 inch screen, will also be introduced at the same time.

You can check out leaked photos of the Apple iPhone 6 front panel, by viewing the slideshow below.

What's wrong ? It's smaller than on the "5" series glass and that means smaller than galaxy S5 or Xperia Z2 bezels.

Big bottom bezel has fingerprint scanner so it is forgivable but Apple should do something about that big upper bezel because it doesn look god at all!

But then the bezels wouldn't be symmetrical.

I think less bezel more screen is more practical than an visual symmetry. And I also think that it wouldn't ruin phone design too.

I agree, but I'm telling you from Apple's point of view. iPhones have a classic look. I bet getting rid of the squircle on the home button, was hardest decision they ever made.

Because most iPhone user used to say 3.5" was perfect, then 4" and now its 4.7"
If Apple had used small bezels then its actual size would still be about the same as when it was 4"

Yeah but they aren't huge anyway. Don't forget they are making millions of them, so they can't put in some proprietary bezel shrinking technology so easilly like LG for example as it is another manufacturing challenge.

When are they going to shoot laser beams through the screens? Isn't the sapphire supposed to resist the lasers for longer than the gorilla glass?
