At this price, the phone is still barely worth it. For a phone that comes off as a mid to high end device, there is really nothing high end about it, except maybe the 8MP camera and the way the back cover feels in your hand. The SE interface is really annoying and overdone, there's no multitouch, the touchscreen itself doesn't register touches all that great, no 720p video recording, and Android here is nothing to rave about at all.

I agreen with you on this one, but I think you also forgot to point out this comes with a super outdated Android 1.6 version. Even with Android 2.1 update later on, this phone will still NOT have capability of multi-touching (confirmed by Sony due to the hardware they chose, not software). This phone, however, is got the look of every Sony fan's dream that is no doubt :)

You have had 2 SE peers contradict one another as far as multi-touch is concerned. Pinch-zoom DOES work while using Opera-Mini on the X10. The 2.1 update in September WILL enable 720p Video, increase screen resolution from 65k colors to 16 million colors, as well as improve over-all speed of the x10. Once updated to 2.1 what do all these other handsets have over the X10 as far as specs and performance goes?
