Yes, it's best!

Phone owned for more than a year

That phone is totally best. Why? Because I have used more than 4 years. This phone have very good build quality. I'm tested the phone on water, snow, drop, dust and other and the phone is alive. The call quality is good, sound is good. Problem is the lacks of memory card and the small memory (only 28 mb). The battery is the thing, that makes the phone very good for every day usage. At a glance this is a phone for it years and it low price.

Best in lid range.

Phone owned for

I used Sonny Ericsson K510I for 5 year without any trouble. Now I Use Samsung SGH L700. But in case of  easy use and multiple features  K50i still ALL the Best on it's way.So I still Believe in K510i for it's performance. But if it has extra memory slot  and fm then it ccatches meny more.

Worth Its Price

Phone owned for

This phone was really good one. i have used it for about 1 year and found it best among the sets of same price. this phone has no doubt a very good look and feel. It gives an executie look when in hand and for those who are shape crazy this phone was a best choice rather it is a good choice even now though its been long time since its release.

2nd thing i have liked about this phone is its camera result. its only 1.3 Mega Pixels but its camera result is more than satisfactory when used in daylight or properly lighted area. I would have attached some pics if it were allowed here:) though result is not that good in bad light but i would say that as compared to its price thats no issue. You can always use external flash but personally i have not liked the result with that as it makes some noticeable shadows behind the objects.

if we talk about its sound quality, thats very good and loud as well. Please don't compare with some expensive phones anyway. i dont think there is one of matching price with matching quality in sound and camera.

One thing i always missed was unavailability of Radio! Though external arrangements can be made to compansate it but i could never go for such a solution so thats not a big issue either;

it has about 28 MB shared memory that is enough for most of the users choosing a mobile phone of compareable price. Atleast, 1 and half year before, this much memory was sufficient for most of the users.

One of the best phones ever

Phone owned for

A great phone. Don't complain it for no memory card and no radio. You can buy a pocket radio and plug your hands-free in it. The memory is enough. You won't find anything better with this price.

Best Phone in Its Class

Phone owned for

this is is the best phone in its class. it has one of the best 1.3MP cameras sony ericsson has made (very comparable to the one found in the s700i). good battery life, bluetooth and its light weight make it a sure winner. plus is it pretty stylish looking for what is supposedly a "budget phone"; it looks quite elegeant, actually.

sure, you can complain about the phone not having a higher resolution screen, no fm radio or no memory card slot and only 28MB of memory...but it is a "budget handset" and that is why it is the best phone in its class.

the only thing that would prevent me from giving it a 5 out of 5 is that the shutter sound in the camera cannot be disabled, even when the phone is in silent mode. this is very annoying, but it is something found in other newer sony ericsson phones, including the w850i and the k610i.

besides that, i would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a really solid phone for everyday use with a great camera without the extra bells and whistles of a high end phone.
