This phone so far is light and slim. It is lighter than the razor. My friend got the razor and I like mine better. Why need the camera, with it's bluetooth, I can share my pictures with my friends bluetooth phone that has a camera. THe body is firmly built with good size number buttons. The push to talk isn't worth using. Why not just use a regular cellular call instead of paying an extra $9.99 a month?

Ive had this phone for over 3 months now and i have to say that i still love it. Its a rather thin phone so it sits more comfortably in my pocket. The voice recognition is amazingly accurate, no need to train individual names. the real ringtones sound great. easy to use interface. great size screen. People complain about no camera, but this is one of the few phones that cingular has that doesnt have a camera. Keypad is flat with the rest of the phone. Volume buttons on the side make it easy to put the phone in quiet and vibrate mode. PTT button makes communications easy. Text messaging is a breeze. Phonebook is easy to use. The speakerphone sounds great. 2.5mm jack makes it easy to use the universal headsets along with the option to use a bluetooth earpiece. Bluetooth options are great. Has great bluetooth connection range. Never had a problem with lost signal. Blue notification light on front of phone is great for alerting of call or message when in silent. Easy to navigate. Fun to own. Reccomended to all my friends

I like this phone. It is full featured and easy to use. It offers Push to Talk and supports Bluetooth transfers for ringtones and images from a computer. It can also act as a cellular modem or high speed internet connection (for extra money)

Some people complain about the lack of a camera on this phone, but I am glad it does not have one. I have used several camera phones and ended up with more time and effort wasted than usable images. Video recorder capable phones are even worse.

Some theaters do not allow phones with cameras or video capability. Some companies will not allow you to bring a camera phone into their buildings or even onto their property.

If you want to take pictures buy a digital camera. If you want to take movies buy a digital camcorder. The more functionality you add to a phone the greater the chance of it breaking.

A rugged phone with decent features for the price. Sound quality both in handset and speaker are pretty good. The PTT feature from Cingular still has some bugs with a slow response from the time you press the call button to the actual alert tone. Sometimes I think it would be faster to place a call than use the PTT. The Voice command feature is amazing and you do not need to train the phone. I dont like the placement of the volume button on the left side, it seems that I am always changing the volume by mistake.I personally am very pleased with the phone itself, but the PTT option from Cingular is Quirky at best. Not as fast or reliable as Nextel. I will give it a couple of more months and if no change, possibly cancel the PTT feature.

The D357 is a solid feeling phone, good feel on flip with a good locked feeling in open and closed but still smooth and easy to use. Sound is a little soft from the handset but the speaker is excellent. Menus are very fast and easy to navigate. As with all phones there a few quirks in the menus and controls, but all easy to learn and navigate. Excellent battery life. No camera, but we didn't want one and never use one. Great phone!

Great Phone. Works Well. Some people whine about no camera, but I don't buy phones to replace my digital camera. Samsung has a good product.
