All of the best phones are getting costlier, but the Galaxy S26 Ultra is somehow getting cheaper
Amazon is selling Samsung's latest non-foldable crown jewel at a simply unbelievable discount for a presumably limited time only.

Unfortunately, that went up from $1,299.99 to $1,399.99 a few weeks ago, but evidently, Amazon didn't get the memo. Or it did, but it chose to ignore it, selling the most affordable S26 Ultra variant at one of its lowest ever prices right now in a white colorway.
Yes, the e-commerce giant is currently listing the S Pen-wielding 6.9-inch giant with built-in Privacy Display functionality at an incredible $455 off its (new) regular price, and no, you don't need a Prime membership or anything else to score this super-rare deal. Believe it or not, you're looking at a Prime Day-eclipsing discount here, but if recent history is any indication, you don't have a lot of time to pull the trigger before the Galaxy S26 Ultra goes back up in price.

Who doesn't like a white phone with state-of-the-art specs and a fair price? | Image by Samsung
There was a post-Prime Day promotion you might remember, which only lasted for a few hours a couple of weeks ago, and if you're not quick, you're probably going to have to wait until Black Friday or Cyber Monday to maximize your holiday savings on this exceptionally well-reviewed phone with a breathtaking screen, state-of-the-art processor, solid battery life, blazing fast charging (at least by Samsung's standards), extraordinary cameras, and virtually unrivaled long-term software support.
Can you do better than the Galaxy S26 Ultra... at under $1,000? Absolutely not, and based on the industry-wide evolution of component costs and product prices over the last year or so, that's only going to become harder and harder in the future. And yes, that obviously includes the Galaxy S27 Ultra, which is likely to be even costlier than its predecessor at launch and unlikely to ever drop this remarkably low.
