A stable version of One UI 9 has started rolling out for Galaxy S26 devices.

Your Galaxy S26 is about to feel a lot more modern. Yep, the beta saga that started back in May is finally coming to an end. It looks like Samsung is ready to put the One UI 9 Beta behind it, at least for some users.

Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9 update for Galaxy S26 series beta users in Korea.

The update is around 650MB and includes the September security patch besides the stable firmware.
Although there has been no official press release from Samsung, Tarun Vats has a very strong track record, so we have no reason to doubt the claim.

One UI 9 is an Android 17-based software with the familiar Samsung twist that brings deeper customizations and more Galaxy AI features. Highlights include My FanCam, Call Brief, and improvements to Now Brief and Now Nudge.
My FanCam, for instance, allows you to take a video of a group of people and then put the spotlight on a single individual using Galaxy AI, while also letting you choose your preferred aspect ratio.
As for Call Brief, it can save you valuable time while you're on the phone. It delivers relevant information to your screen during a call, showing you things like your calendar when you're discussing plans for a get-together with a friend.
In Now Brief, you can now make custom cards, while Now Nudge becomes 'smarter' and brings up more contextualized information.
These features were initially exclusive to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, but they'll now make their way onto Galaxy S26 devices, even if you haven't signed up for the Beta Program.

- Head to Settings
- Tap Software updates
- Go to Check for updates
Right on time
If you think Samsung has launched One UI 9 earlier than expected, I'd have to disappoint you. With the Galaxy S25, for instance, Samsung opened the beta program for the then-latest One UI 8 in late May 2025 and started rolling out the stable version on September 15, 2025.
As I see it, the arrival of a stable One UI 9 on Galaxy S26 models isn't early. It's right on time.
