Apple or Samsung: which one delivers better translation tools?
That said, there are some differences worth mentioning. Apple lets iPhone users get live translation features during FaceTime calls, keeping it exclusive to its ecosystem. On the other hand, Samsung has its Call Assist feature built right into the Phone app, allowing you to translate supported phone calls in real time.
Ultimately, there's no telling whether Apple's approach is better than Samsung's or vice versa. As I see it, both have plenty of strengths and some weaknesses. So, it all boils down to whether you use an iPhone or a Galaxy phone.
When can you expect the update to become available?

Getting support for new languages is definitely welcome, as it can help users connect even if they don't speak the same language. But what's even better is that you may not have to wait months to get the update.
Samsung claims it'll initially roll out Bixby's new languages starting October 14. It may take a bit longer to release the Galaxy AI update, though the tech giant claims that should happen in the coming weeks. You may have to download some of the new Galaxy AI languages as language packs via Settings.
Keep in mind that exact timing for the update may vary from region to region. Typically, Samsung rolls out updates in its home market and the US before introducing them to a global audience.
